So, this is a movie starring Justin Timberlake, yes the famous singer, who plays Dylan, and Mila Kunis, who plays Jamie.
The movie is pretty funny at the beginning where they break up with their partners and faith brings them together. But if you ask me it's not that "I've been waiting my whole life for you" but more of two weirdos drawn together by their uniqueness, which I love about this movie. It's genre is comedy, but there is a bit of drama. It has those dramatic scenes because both Dylan and Jamie are mentally damaged, because of their previous love lives. The funny thing is how they meet, it's not the usual "bump in the road, I love your smile" but it's more of a she goes bear foot to find a bag in an airport while waiting for him. I won't go into any details so I don't ruin the movie.
They start their friendship with the usual lunches in NYC, dinners, parties, etc. Then, just like every guy, Dylan proposes to Jamie for them to have sex, no strings attached. By the way, that never works. They end up agreeing to it and saying never again, until the next and the next and the next and next, you know what I mean.
Dylan's dad has Alzheimer's so he has to go back to LA and he brings Jamie, who is the first girl he's brought home.
The movie takes some twists from here on that you'll have to watch to find out.
Personally the ranking on IMDb is low, I laughed my bum off and the movie is awesome. To conclude, it's a must see romantic-dramatic comedy, and it's great!
