This series is one of my favorites in Netflix, which I highly recommend my friends in watching. It's a R-18 series with mystery, comedy, romance, a bit of action and spiritual genre. WARNING: - There might be spoilers ahead - Might contain offensive religious views READ AT YOUR OWN RISK ''Lucifer'' is an American TV series developed by Tom Kapinos. It's originally aired on Fox on January 25, 2016; but on May 11, 2018, Fox cancelled the series after three seasons due to its low ratings. However, on May 8, 2019, Lucifer started its fourth season after being saved by Netflix. In the present, Netflix renewed the franchise for its fifth and last series. Lucifer Morningstar, played by Tom Ellis, abandons Hell, went to Los Angeles and ran his own nightclub. He openly calls himself the ''Devil'' and eventually becomes a LAPD consultant. He investigates murder cases with Detective Chloe Decker, played by Lauren German; who unlike the other people, isn't affected by his powers, which puzzles him. His stay in L.A. becomes more fun and complicated as a lot of characters (both mortal and immortal) join him, including his family and even devils who want him to rule back in Hell. You'll see how mortal life and love changed the Devil. And the series isn't just about Lucifer, but also those around him. How problems and unexpected turns affect their lives. As a lot of people know Lucifer from the Bible as God's favorite angel, who became overwhelmed with pride that he tried to overthrow Him. That's why he and other angels got kicked out from Heaven. Meanwhile, Lucifer in this series believes that his father (God) sent him to Hell as his job to rule it. All throughout the series, Lucifer despise the people who say ''The devil made me do it!'', saying that committing a sin is our own choice, not his; which is actually a good point. If you're trying to find a good series to watch on Netflix, Lucifer is at the top of my recommendation list. It made me laugh, cry, and fall in love, it gave me a lot of realizations, and even made me question my faith and beliefs.
