Crawl is a 2019 American disaster horror film directed by Alexandre Aja and written by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen.The movie had a worldwide release on July 12,2019. It received a good audience response considering its visually engaging scenes which sticks the viewers to their seats. The movie mainly focuses on 2 lead characters Haley Keller played by Kaya Scodelario. Dave Keller played by Barry Pepper (Haley's father) and their several attempts to save their life from the alligators which came near them during a category 5 hurricane. In the movie, Haley is a protective teenager who travels long distance to save her dad. The climatic changes and hurricane made all the alligators swim in and around their home hunting preys which came in their way. The strategy used by the lead characters is definitely appreciable when it comes to the way the VFX works was done.Its definitely enjoyable in theaters while experiencing in large screen with high quality audio. Though there was a little bit lag in first half, the alligators would increase our heartbeats each minute when u hear sounds of waters in crisp clarity. The movie can come inside a survival genre too along with a disaster horror genre. I am sure these alligators will give u fearful moments and spine chills with intense visuals and their predatory behavior. I saw this movie in a dolby atmos 4k theater. So my viewing experience was awesome. In my opinion The Crawl is a good watchable movie with full of VFX works.The direction is good but the ending of the story was done a bit faster. I won't recommend this movie to pregnant ladies as this is too risky to watch for them. My rating for this movie is 3.8 out of 5 by:- Eldo (mightygalaxian)
