Hello once again, people, to my Completely Unreliable Movie Reviews. This will be the first in a double feature (the other will be filled with series reviews). You know the drill by now, so let's hop on to it.

It is a 2017 horror film based on the novel by Stephen King starring some very familiar kids from movies or shows I might have seen and a clown named Pennywise. He's a clown that seeks out kid's fears and amplifies it for his own agenda. It's not really that scary, you know? Some jump scares here and there. Honestly, I watched this in the dark and nothing. My tits are still calm, but I guess the film could scare some people (Annabelle: Creation was better) What's creepy though is the psychological aspects of the story. Pennywise feeds on your fears and if you ever had to confront your fears, he'd get you too. Otherwise, I'd recommend this to watch.

Everybody Wants Some is a 2016 coming of age comedy film set at the beginning of 1980 and it follows a weekend in the life of a university baseball frat house before the semester starts through the eyes of a freshman pitcher. It's a Linklater film and he really knows how to not disappoint his audience. I wouldn't recommend this movie over Dazed and Confused, but this seems like a worthy sequel or successor.

The Infiltrator is a 2016 thriller film starring Walter White as a FBI agent who infiltrates Pablo Escobar's cartel via the banking system. That's all I can really say about the movie. It's alright, I guess. I mean, there's lots of talking, lots of infiltrating and yeah... That's all. I can say it's similar to that Daniel Radcliffe movie, Imperium, where he plays a FBI agent who infiltrates a white supremacist group. This is an okay movie to watch though. Watch if you need to sleep.

I Do, I Do, I Do is a 2015 romcom about a woman who has to relive her disastrous wedding day over and over until she realizes and decides to do what she actually wants to do in life. Honestly, I only watched this movie for the Groundhog Day concept, but the movie and a look and feel of a Lifetime movie. In other words, I'd rather be castrated and have my eyes scooped out with a rusty spoon than watch it again. Everything just doesn't feel organic and natural, like Groundhog Day. The cheese factor in this movie is too damn high. Funny enough, there are like 4 other films with the exact same concept in the past year or 2, which is really strange. But anyway, this isn't one worth watching. Look how I torture myself. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT!

Lastly, CBGB is a film set in the 70's and it follows the true story of how the famous CBGB club was founded by one Hilly Kristal. He opened his club with the intention of showcasing bands who plays Country and Bluegrass, but instead his bar is associated with some of the greatest rock acts from the late 70's and onwards. The music that place have seen. If only those walls could talk. It's my kind of music... But anyway, it's a brilliant movie to watch if you're a connoisseur of good music.

Till next time...
