Today I'm going to do an analysis of the 5 TV shows that I liked most to watch between 2016/2017, it is important to emphasize that this is a personal analysis from my own opinion, you may even disagree if you know the TV shows I'm going to quote now, I also accept suggestions for watching new shows and also commenting on the show you indicate. 5. Iron Fist (Photo not found) For those who subscribe my articles you may notice that I am an admirer of films and superheroes TV shows, but this is the only one that will enter my top five for being a show that closes an important arch of three other heroes involving a trilogy. The Iron Fist is a young man who at twelve years of age suffered an aerial accident in destiny to China that resulted in the deaths of his parents, in the plane crash he was the sole survivor and rescued by monks from a mystical monastery. At 25, Danny Rand returns to New York where he will have to learn to deal with the very important company that belonged to his family and now in the hands of people who could do everything to continue in power and he will have to deal with the gift he received while in the monastery. 4. Fear The Walking Dead (Photo not found) Spin-off of the so-known The Walking Dead, the plot begins on the West coast of the USA and extends to Mexico, unlike the Walking Dead, this series addresses the beginning of the zombie apocalypse, shows how chaos has been creating shape before this situation, I particularly like more of this spin-off than the original series because we can notice here how people have been adapting to this zombie apocalypse, losing media, transportation, food, political systems and safe places. It is an engaging plot that highlights also a family drama where the main characters have evolved considerably in the first two years. 3. Black Mirror (Photo not found) This science fiction show first drew me very attentively by its format. Each episode is a different plot in different situations. These situations make us reflect a lot about our behaviour in society and also our behaviour in social networking, our vision of what we consume, and also questions the use of technology in our favour or against our will. Although in some episodes the series presents a very futuristic approach to the message that it passes always reflected in our present, it worth to watch! 2. Big Little Lies (Photo not found) The first impression I had while watching the first episode of this show was that it would be a boring drama with foolish women and their gossip problems.... Don't make the same mistake I made! In the course of the first episode, we see that the title of the show makes a lot of sense to the context in which the characters are inserted. In addition to bringing a suspense around a murder, it is a short show of only seven episodes, where the murderer and the victim are revealed in the last episode. Until we reach this point we will try to deduct who is the murderer and who is the victim observing also the personal life of each character is exposed leaving us increasingly clues about the suspects, these problems involve rape, harassment, domestic violence, cheating, problems with work, problems with children, all of this shown in a very adult and touching way. The production, direction, soundtrack and cast of the series are incredible reaching the second place in my Top 5. 1. Westworld (Photo not found) Imagine yourself inside a game where you are the main character and that all actions and consequences depend solely on you, feeling free to do whatever you want, be the good guy or villain, robbing banks, saving someone, fighting the army or whatever! Well, this is the proposal presented by the theme park of Westworld where people entering the park feel free to do whatever they want, when arriving at the Old West theme park visitors interact with robots very similar to humans, each day these robots are renewed according to the adventure that visitors practise with them. Robots are programmed to do not care about things they do not understand, and over time they acquire involuntary self-awareness because more than 30 years they are being exploited in the park, the plot involves many mysteries with plenty of violence and impeccable performances. This TV show stood in my first place for representing what the human being is capable of doing when we have everything to our control and also by the great quality in which the show is made, the direction counts with great names of cinema and the cast is wonderful, each episode we are more intrigued to know how the events are embedded in the timeline that is displayed and how robots will acquire involuntary consciousness.
