The Selecao international turned a blind eye to Real Madrid's interest as he chose to join the Blaugrana this summer to end a transfer saga which has dragged along at a snail's pace for years. Tito Vilanova's side have forked out an estimated €28 million (£23.9m) for the highly rated attacker on a five-year deal, with the 21-year-old set to earn around €7m (£6m) per year before bonuses and sponsorships.
