Mail Update!

We have all been waiting for it. And it’s finally here - the New Mail! For a while now we have been tirelessly working on improving your experience of Mail. We collected your requests and put our own imagination and creativity to the test. After that, we took some time for testing it to make sure that the launch goes without a hitch. And now we are proud to present to you the new and improved Mail.



Now let’s take a look at what has actually changed in Mail. First of all, we updated the design. You can see that it looks much more modern and appealing, and is more user-friendly. 



With the new Mail, you can attach files like Photos, Blog Entries, GalaPaper Articles and Questions from Ask Me. So now you can share almost everything with your friends privately.



Now let’s explore the ability to attach photos to private messages. This neat option was highly demanded and we did our best to make it happen for you. What you need to remember about it is:



- Attached pictures are available only in the conversation that you sent it to;

- They are deleted with the messages when they expire;

- If you want to add such picture to your album, you need to save it, because these pictures will be deleted automatically in 60 days, even if the message was saved.



Another exciting thing is the ability to tag usernames in private messages. In a message, it will look like a username with a link to this person's Info. All you need to do is to put @ in front of the username (with no space in between). For example, @Callisto.



When the person you wrote a pm to reads it, the message will be marked as ‘’seen’’. Which is very handy, since now you will be able to know for sure, if your friend has read the message. Moreover, we cancelled the restriction of 5 unread messages to one user. Now you can send as many as you want.



The users of version 9.0 will get another cool feature. They will be able to see the number of unread messages right in the main Menu next to Mail.



If you were confused by the separate conversations for notifications of different sorts, you will be pleased to learn that now you will receive all the notifications in one conversation.



Your contacts were changed to "Favorites". You can find them in Private Mail >> New Message >> Favorites.



And last but not least, now you can send, save and delete multiple messages at a time. To do that simply choose ‘’Select Messages’’ in the conversation menu. ‘’Forward’’ option is now available to all users.
