Today is a big day! [drumbeat] We are thrilled to announce Galaxy 9.0! The last big update happened almost two years ago, when we introduced the version 8.0. Right now, you have the opportunity to try out something really new and advanced. So you ask, what's new in the version 9.0? We could simply say "numerous improvements and optimizations", but let's look in details at what the new version brings to you. First of all, the app is redesigned along the Material guidelines by Google - from tiny barely noticeable details to the app icon and logo. Galaxy has a brand new look now! We received so many messages where you asked us to bring back the dark color scheme of chat like it was before in the version 7.3. We did even a better thing. Now you can choose from two color schemes. Whether you like light or dark, you always can change it in General Settings. On smartphones you can see how greatly the main menu changed. It has a complete new look: simpler, smarter and more comfortable. We added a special top panel where you can see your current character look and balance, quickly change your status and get to Settings. The menu items with new icons are sorted by usage frequency, so rarely opened ones hide under the "More" item. You will be notified about some new events with indicators on the respective menu items. That's not all. Chatting on Planets is easier than ever before. The message text input field is now constantly visible. No taps on some speech bubble - type your message straight away. Moreover, from now on, you can select a character on Planet and their username will immediately appear in the message text input field. Easy as that! More! The icon on your top right collapses and expands the browser, so you can easily get back to the page you were on before you opened chat to reply to a message. We also added the pull-to-refresh feature in some services like WatsUp? and comments which makes them so friendly to use. If you are already on 9.0, you could not have missed the new loaders. We tried really hard to make them look nice and attractive. The familiar rocket appears every time you go from one Planet to another, and page loading is followed by a loader with changing characters you recently met on Planets. Sadly, we are not magicians, so these beautiful loaders can be well seen only on smartphones. We believe that with this version we made the app more convenient and responsive. Autologin makes it so easy to get to your character with just one tap on the app icon on your device. And while the connection with chat server is setting up, you already can get to the main menu and use services without waiting for the slow Internet to transfer data. We covered just the most important changes. Especially for experienced users. Although we care about our newbies too, so in 9.0 they will experience our very new interactive tutorial presented by someone called Alice. Galaxy 9.0 is already available on App Store, Google Play and yes, our official website too.
