Hello to all readers.
This is the section in which should be posted innovations of Galaxy, but as the GalaPaper is one of the biggest latest innovations, I decided to write here some tips on "how to become a reporter". And the main reason for the existence of this article - is to help you undestand what it is all about.
In the section "Help" is clearly said how to become a reporter and how to write articles and to my big disappointment many people who had applied didn't even write any blogs.
I have no idea what they're thinking - maybe they didn't read the rules or just hoping for good luck. But let me tell you something - this is not a lottery! To become a reporter there needs to be a combination of talent, creativity and hard work. It's not just a privilege you apply for fun: if you've decided to get such a privilege, it means you'll have to write interesting articles quite often.
When you apply, you have to make sure, that all your five articles are ready in your main blog to be checked. To simplify everything, give them quick names with numbers (for example: "blog 1 - humour", "blog 2 - the unexplained", etc).
+2 more blogs:
* how to become a reporter &
* another blog about yourself and why you think you're good enough for the privilege.
A lot of you get confused about the source which has to be pointed in the end of articles. It's much easier than you think. (If you wrote an article on your own - write "Author: me". If you got it from a website, write: "Source: www.whereigotitfrom/article12345". (this is just an example).
Articles should be grammatically well written. (Not perfectly written - this is the proofreaders' job. But if your English is excellent, it's a plus for you).
You must be ready to leave your gang, and join GalaPaper. Don't violate constitution; Don't get any punishments, and if you get one while being reporter - you will get demoted.
AND ONE OF THE MAIN THINGS: Do not use any slang! (shortened words) \
