The End [Part Three]

Day: 18 
Entry: 1 
 
It has been ten days since my last entry. I and Laura haven't seen a living nor a dead soul the first five days since we went on our little expedition in seek of my friends. Then, out of the blue, we stumbled upon a fort that was hand build. I yelled "Hello?!" Nobody answered. Complete silence. I asked Laura "Should we go inside?" Laura answered "We got nothing to lose". The second I opened the game a million zombies came at us! "RUN!" said Laura, and we did. We hid in a near coffee shop with our weapons ready and our minds focused on staying alive.
I heard a bang in the back and got my gun out, I yelled "Anybody there?!" but nobody answered. I opened the door to the back of the shop and there was a man hiding behind the counter. I said "It's ok, come out." Surprised to so my friend, Shobhit, I gladly hugged him. "What are you doing here?" Shobhit asked, "We are searching for you and the rest of the people dear to me." I replied. "Are you the only ones left?" Shobhit asked with great worry. "No, come!" I replied and starting walking towards the door. "Stop!" Laura said. "Do you want to get killed?!" Stunned, I replied "By what? The coast is clear!" Annoyed by my impatience, Laura walked away and said "Do whatever you want!"  I asked her "What's wrong?" "You! You and your silly plans of going in search of your friends! If you haven't noticed, we are surviving a bloody apocalypse!", "You didn't have to go." I replied with great doubt. "But I did! To keep an eye on you!" I got really upset at the moment and told that I wasn't a child... We argued too much. And then she left, just turned her back and walked out of the door. I tried stopping her, but she just kept on walking. "BYE!" Laura said. I was really worried at the moment, but "She's not a little girl, she can survive. I hope." I said to myself.
A few seconds later I went back to Shobhit, worried with what I have to say. He sat down. "Let's go." I added, "Go where?" he replied. "We are going back, I'm not losing you again!" So we headed back to my parents...
