I'll Love You Forever

There are millions of hopes in a mother's heart. Also, there are a lot of hope in a mother's eyes. It was the toughest moment for a mother to say good bye to her lovely daughter.

On 20th December 2012, it was a normal day. When I saw those moments and my eyes were filled with tears. I went to drop my elder brother at the Delhi Airport. Then I heard an announcement of departure, a flight from Delhi to London. Near the security gates, a mother was hugging her daughter again and again. She kissed her daughter's forehead many times. The mother's eyes were filled with the tears that were shining like diamonds. Then she said, "I love you forever. Then the mom gave her a Holy Bible.

The daughter cried and replied, "Mom, our life together has been forever. Your love is all I ever needed. I love you too forever." They kissed and the daughter left.

Suddenly, a bag fell down from her hand. I ran towards her to pick it up. She took the bag and said, "Thanks" . But how can I leave her in that situation. I asked to her gently, "Was she your daughter?". She said, "Yes". I heard the words which you told to her. She started talking to me by asking, "Did you ever say goodbye to someone knowing it would be forever?"

"Yes", I replied. Then I asked her. Forgive me for asking but why is this goodbye forever?". Then she smiled with tears in her eyes. She replied to me, "I am old now and she lives so far away from me. Since childhood she never stays any day or any night without me. So, how she will live? And the reality is the next trip back will be for my funeral."

On hearing this, my eyes were lit up. Then I asked the last thing, "What will be your wish for her?"

With her teary eyes, she said, "I wish the sun to keep her attitude bright. I wish the rain to appreciate the sun more. I wish her happiness to keep her spirit alive. I wish her enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I wish her enough gain to satisfy her wanting. I wish her enough loss to appreciate all that she possess. I wish her enough hellos to get her through the final goodbye."

She then began to cry and walked away.

I realized that it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them and an entire life to forget them.
