So why didn't he want to be with her? He was secretly in love with me. Yeah, that stuff happens quite often between friends with different gender. I had no idea what he felt for me and tried to fix his relationship with Kate, and it only hurt him more. He was even ready to be with her not to lose our friendship. Kate phoned me every day and cried that she can't live without him but after he confessed to her to her that he has feelings for me, she gave up. She said that she forgot him and dated another guy. The thing is that I have a boyfriend but Morton still believed in the impossible. I couldn't watch him suffer and offered my friend Alina (she is not from Galaxy) to take him out on a date. She was also lonely because she just split up with her boyfriend and wanted to chill out. But after their second date Alina understood that she didn't sympathize Morton. The joyless part was when he found out what time she finishes working and decided to surprise her with a flower and a chocolate. When he phoned Alina she told him that unfortunately they are unable to meet today because she has just been sent for some urgent work to the other side of the city by her boss. He didn't realize that it was an obvious lie and he phoned me. Luckily, I turned out to be close enough to encourage him, it was my bloody idea about the surprise anyway. We met and he asked me what the hell should he do with the flower? I teased that he should eat it and give me the chocolate, he-he. We had a lot of fun that day and he didn't call her since. When Kate found out that I arranged a blind date for him, she got really infuriated with me. She couldn't get over him and her heart was tortured. But Alina didn't fancy him and that gave Kate another chance. She started to chat on the phone with Morton and they came up with friendship. The next thing I found out was Kate's arrival to my city next week, and that she was going to stay at his place. How was that possible? Well, before he was very flattered that she loved him madly, and he treated her rudely, laughed at her with his friends and that made her cry every time, but she kept letting him humiliate her. What on earth changed now? (Photo not found) She understood what was wrong. One bright morning Kate showed him complete indifference. She convinced him that she stopped loving him and sees him only as a friend. That was quite shocking for him, because that was what he kept telling her constantly before "I see you only as a friend". And each time he tried to bug her, she told him with a calm intonation "We are friends, right? Then why don't you treat me with respect, you don't want to lose our friendship, do you?"
