You keep on tossing and turning, Can't seem to find the right position. Your mind can't stop thinking, Trying to find every possible solution Head filled with doubts and worries, Even problems that are non-existent Endless questions and theories, Unable to sleep until your mind's content. A chaotic mind and a heavy heart Makes it hard to have a peaceful night. Around the empty room your eyes dart, The swarming thoughts are hard to fight. You slowly tuck yourself in, Under the covers just to feel warm. Imagining how your day should've been, With soft pillows around your form. Hush now, child. Tomorrow's a brand new day. Close your eyes, child. Feel the whole world melt away. Wrap your doubts in a prayer, Leave your thoughts for awhile. As the angels watch from afar, Gently close your eyes with a smile.
