So, you've moved on
and left me still standing
but unable to take a step
forward or away
from nothing that's left

So, where do I start again
to summon enough strength
to carry these pieces
of what I used to call self

So, how do I get up
from the muck
of memories still stuck
on rewind
and on loop in my mind

So, what's next after you've gone
after the fragments of our failed attempts
to keep everything right
had been blown away like
ashes of firelight
