She left.
It is a decision she had to make,
And a trip she was looking forward to for months.
So she left.
To some people this place may have seem like a simple vacation,
Somewhere anyone can go to out of boredom or whatnot.
But to her it was an escape.
Granted an escape for only a lil while,
But an escape nonetheless.
It was her chance to bounce back,
From fear, worry, anxiety—
Everything that seem to drag her down back at home.
Over here was a clean slate—
An opportunity to start over again.
It was a place where she got to spend time with new people, new friends.
Little things like reading more than just few conversations,
Or mourning and revealing her thoughts without being judged.
Little things that she had lost back at home, but had found here.
It was nothing short of amazing—
Seeing new eyes, talking to different souls and expriencing new cultures.
It was everything she wish to fall into,
Everything she needed in an escape.
But she left.
She left and she found herself.
She left and she found real peace.
