Winning Or Competing?

Winning or competing? Which is better? Winning something or competing for it?
I'm sure most of you will say, winning is always better for you.
I completely disagree with this. Wondering why ?

Winning makes you feel like you are the master of your game, that no-one can make you lose it.
It creates an illusion of "I'm God, I'm the best of all." Well this isn't correct.

When you lose by competing, it feels sad but creates eagerness and a thirst for winning at the next given opportunity.
It makes you realise the mistakes that occurred and prepares you not to repeat them.

It makes your mind switch to learning mode. Once you follow this path of learning and the realisation of mistakes, your journey towards winning starts. Unless you lose your confidence.

People who are judging you will be surprised when you follow a path towards winning. They will watch you improving constantly.
Straight winning gives you fame all of a sudden, so why would you choose to struggle on a competing and learning journey?

It's simple."Slow and steady wins the race." This rule is still applicable, even today.
Remember, while one is on a learning journey of competing, one is overcoming all of his mistakes. This makes him strong, whilst the straight winner is vulnerable, he isn't aware of his weakness.

There is no shortcut to being a winner.
I hope you are now aware why competing is more important than winning straight forward.
Thanks for reading.
