Hi Readers! Today I'm going to tell you about a different kind of law in relation to our many different roles, I have learned this when I was in Grade 8. In this article you will find out something that you didn't know before. 1. Natural Law - The ''law of our nature as human persons''. - The set of duties and responsibilities arising from our essential dignity as human persons. - People are capable of knowing by their means of their understandings. Natural Law Characteristics 1. Universal (for all) 2. Unity and invariability (equal) 3. Immutability (cannot be modified) 2. Moral Law - Governs every individual's behavior. It contains truth and ethical principles to guide people's conduct a matter of right and incorrect. It tells one how to act in relation to God and others. 3. Human Law - Deals with the juridical order of society, be it of the state or of the Church. - Laws enacted for the common good. 4. Divine Law - The law of God as revealed by the sacred scripture. 5. Church Law - Expression of divine law on the concrete circumstances of Christian Living. 6. Civil Law - Human-made laws to govern our various relationships in the community. - Application of natural law in given society. - This is the kind of law that we would automatically think of.
