Israel has postponed a national election so it doesn’t clash with a Britney Spears concert in Tel Aviv, reports The Telepgraph. The election, which is for Israel’s opposition Labour party, has been moved to 4 July. Former party leader and defence minister Amir Peretz told The Telegraph that the postponing of the election is due to logistical problems as roads leading to the venue in Tel Aviv would be in gridlock. Other sources claim there is a shortage of security guards and stewards due to everyone working at the Britney concert. Another reason is that the Tel Aviv exhibition grounds, which are right next to the concert venue, will also likely be used during the election. The concert in Tel Aviv is one of the concerts that form part of Britney’s tour "abroad". Currently on a two-month break from her Las Vegas residency, Britney is also set to perform in Manila and Japan.
