Since the year has started, the Dancehall scene in Jamaica has been quite a buzz with news of different artists and news of their success. One of 2016's successful artists is Earlan Bartley (whose stage name is Alkaline). This artist has been going hard with hit songs this year, such as My Side Of The Story, One More Time, City, Company and Formula. He has been saying in his famous '2016 batty wash song' released in February 2013 on the 'Igloo Riddim' that this year was prophesized to be his year of triumph. And based on his amount of hit songs that are played each day at almost everywhere, I would say he has been working hard to be the top Dancehall artist so far. He has released his new album 'New Level Unlocked'. (Photo not found) Another Dancehall artist which is said to be the 'King of Dancehall' is Adidjah Palmer (whose stage name is Vybz Kartel). He is Jamaica's top rated Dancehall artist and there is said to be no other artist close to what he has achieved as an artist. His latest album 'King Of Dancehall' features songs like Fever, Strong, Western Union, I'll Take You There, White Line, All I Wanna Do, Forever, Summer 16 and much more. Kartel has replied to statements made by Alkaline originally and in his songs. Kartel says he is and will forever be the one and only King Of Dancehall.' (Photo not found)
